Vivaldi’s Ring of Mystery: A Tale of Venice and Violins (a musical audiobook, play, and picture book) was one of the great loves of my childhood. And that that love is shared by riko, who populated it with the characters of Inception, made me absolutely melt.

In Concerto, Arthur is an orphaned violin prodigy, discovered by Saito the violin maker, and sent to the Ospedale della Carità. There, he meets Eames, the brilliant but disreputable concert master of the school. Arthur quickly becomes enmeshed in the school orchestra, Carnevale, and a mystery.
