Why this must be read:
As a RayK fan I get all hot and bothered about "Asylum," particularly about the opening teaser. Kowalski and Volpe have mere minutes on the screen together and they just about set the place on fire with their chemistry. So, naturally, I am a fan of fic that investigates their connection.
Te's fic is set pre-season 3, and sizzles with heat and humour as Kowalski finds himself in the wrong place at the right time. This is a prequel to the way more angsty, but still awesome Volpe, in which Kowalski tries to explain to Fraser just what Volpe was to him.
