Why this must be read: Another Twilight fic for people who aren't Twilight fans. In fact, I'm not sure the typical Twilight fans would like this one. The author was inspired by The Picture of Dorian Gray: what if, instead of sparkling, vampires looked their real age in the sun? Interesting concept because in the books, whenever Bella thinks of Edward, it's always about his dazzling good looks and never his other qualities or personality. In this story, her love for him - and she - is deeper than that.
