No, I too accepted it as part of a Victorian or Fairytale Trope in the essentially Space Opera that is SW:, the broken hearted never recover. But per crack_van's posting guidelines, a bit of 'popular opinion or controversial topic' rec crept in. Whatever, it's a darn interesting take on the issue.
