Sherlock thinks he's in a romantic relationship with John. John doesn't appear to know it, though. This is one of the genre of asexual!Sherlock stories which are fascinating constants in this fandom (IS there any other fandom with as much weight given to asexuality as this one?). I like the secondary roles that Molly, Lestrade, Mycroft, and even Anderson play in this story. There is also juuuuust enough detective-y bits in this fic to make it a smooth, perfect read.
