Why this must be read: A very unlikely foursome built around the metaphor of square dancing? Literally? It works. Sossity's Stella is nuanced and realistic, tough and yet still idealistic. She's exactly like her canon portrayal, but so much deeper and better nuanced than we get to see on screen; the format of the story is downright artistic and makes it a fast, comfortable read.
