Why this must be read: Another femslash story by someone who normally writes other genres. Avalon only appeared in one episode, although she had more in common with Blake than he did with most of his crew. She also had a lot in common with Cally, as can be seen here. Cally is both field medic and warrior, but it's rare that we see hints of both in a short piece.
