Midsummer's Day now (well, in my book anyway) and although there must be a Summer Solstice fic out there I couldn't find it. However, don't despair, we're off to Salisbury Plain and the mysterious Stonehenge.

Why this must be read: Slanted Light is one of my favourite authors, and this is a wonderful story that combines CI5 action with insights into the relationship between Bodie and Doyle. Our lads are sharing a caravan and waiting for the Winter Solstice, in the company of some strange people. It's Bodie who is displaying unexpected undercover skills, this time, while Doyle puts in some thought on their relationship. Enjoy - I did!
