It's such fun having all of you along on our June S&H road trip! I wasn't counting on this gully washer of a summer rainstorm, or for the Squash's windshield wipers to go south. At least we've got an alternative plan to sitting alongside the road waiting it out. Starsky's here with replacement windshield wiper blades, and while he works, we'll just duck into that theatre right next door and watch a video. Hutch is treating all of us to some snacks - what's not to enjoy? Didn't someone once say that the trick to life isn't avoiding the storms - but rather learning to dance in the rain? :-)

Why this must be read (viewed): Another video by the talented video-storyteller, T.M. is always worth watching (and rewatching). In this visually beautiful piece, we see the boys looking strong, sensitive, supportive, and hopeful as they move through the scenes. We see Starsky struggle with a terrible loss, and remember once more that he will never face utter darkness alone. There are hand touches, hugs, basketball dust ups, smiles - a treasure chest of poignant and wonderful moments. I am confident you will add this to your list of vids to play over and over again.

Did they change the rules about fanvids?

If there were specific rules, I could not find them. I've recc'ed another video - last Saturday. Why on earth wouldn't a place for recommendations welcome all sorts of creative media? So, if there was a constraining rule about vids, I would never knowingly violate it - but I sure as heck wouldn't understand it.

Thanks, Nicky. Perhaps I did break a rule, but I hope my rec will stand. Such a rule doesn't seem to very inclusive of the talent and the variety we have in our fandom. If this is a place to represent our fandom in ways that call attention to excellent pieces, then that rule, in my option, is inherently self-limiting. I have no use for crossovers personally, but I do for quality videos and other media that are worthy of highlighting. Perhaps other fandoms don't have the breadth of variety and offerings that we are fortunate to have in S&H. So...If this rec disappears, I will know why!

I checked the rules and I think now it can be interpreted that more than one vid is allowed :)
