Why this must be read: I've modified the title a bit because think of the children!, but if you know the Avenue Q song that the title is referencing, you know what the last word is already. This is a meta-ish fic about the hilarious and strange human invention that is fandom. It ranges from fandom personality stereotypes to drama to memes to the horrors of internet translation services (an important problem when you can't understand your fandom's canon unless you know Korean/Japanese/Chinese), but all in a really amusing way. As someone who loves fandom and popular culture, this fic made me shriek with laughter a few times. I'm not sure how to sum it up, so here's a snippet:

"have you seen this?" Sungmin says over IM. "your famous!"

Eunhyuk clicks the link and sits for around five minutes with a shocked expression on his face, as the comments of "Junsu is so funny!" and "Sometimes I want to punch Eunhyuk in the face," and then Junsu nudges him.

"wtf," he says. "why are you so quiet, have you died from sheer stupidity."

"LOOK AT THIS," Eunhyuk types furiously. "PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT US. PEOPLE WE DON'T EVEN KNOW."

"welcome to the internet," Junsu types, and then, "wow, they like me more than you lol pwned :D!"

";______;" says Eunhyuk.

*Comprehension notes: This fic simply isn't going to be funny to you unless you know about fandom and also know a bit about Super Junior, such as the "canon" pairings and some details about the members themselves (such as that Siwon is actually quite religious, Heechul is actually quite active on the Internet, and Han Geng tends to ramble). As we're reaching the end of the month, I feel safe reccing this anyhow. Besides that, Junsu is a k-pop idol from the group DBSK, and is friends with Eunhyuk irl; nudging is from MSN Messenger; and...oh I give up ;_; If you have questions about something in the fic, leave a comment here and I'll explain it to you!
