Why this must be read:
Because it's warm and thoughtful and believable. Six months in, Lewis is still adjusting to Hathaway: his needs, his silences, his physical presence, his love. Lewis doesn't know how to not be himself—honest and straightforward—and this fic is a sharp-sweet take on what that means as he slowly but surely collides with the bewitching, cerebral, yearning Hathaway. Oh heart.

Seriously, if someone asked me what my favourite garryowen story is, I think my head would explode, but this has got to be one of my favourites. I love the way she acknowledges the generational differences between them in terms of their sexual appetites and the way they think about the relationship, and the way they work those out over the course of the story is so perfectly Lewis and Hathaway.
