Why this must be read:
Kate is one of my favourite authors. This is one of the few that take place immediately after "The Plague". Hutch is recovering, but gets a message from an old friend, that takes the pair to Pennsylvainia, much to Starsky's displeasure.
As with all of Kate's stories it's easy to see the love between them.

Great recommendation! I am with you on Kate's stories. She is a favorite of mine, too - and this one has some excellent action and something else I love quite a bit - a whumped Hutch. :-)
