My apologies for the late start. However, it is only the 12th, we still have two and a half weeks left in September, which gives me plenty of time to ply you with recs.
As with my last trip in the van, I'm trying to pick stories for people who might be reading in this fandom for the first time. My preference is for genfic, but this time I'm going to try to rec some shippier fic. Since the show is ending in only 13 episodes, I figure if not now, when.

Why this must be read: I know. More genfic. But this is really great! It's an AU of a canon AU since it was written before Immortality aired. After Alt!Livia's return from her mission on the other side, she fears what Walternate's plans for her unborn baby may entail. This is kidfic that's plot and character driven and would have have worked very well as canon. Although the show ultimately went in a different direction with Alt!livia's pregnancy, I actually prefer this one.
