Mike is one of those understated characters who doesn't get a lot of attention in fic. Here

hackthis takes a lovely look at him, at his role and how he sees himself, there in the background, keeping things running smoothly. It's spare and no-bullshit and quietly competent, much like the man himself.

Mike Wynn knows who in his platoon is good at what, who has a weakness, who has to be left alone at this time and who needs somebody all up in their shit. Mike knows that relationships are all about give and take and pull and yank and you can't fucking walk away from me because we're all mired in this shit together.
