Why this must be read: I was quite traumatized by the events of season four. This was one of the first stories I read after—the bad things happened—and I'm so glad I did. Elfin is one of the most talented writers in our fandom so it made me cry, but they were the good kind of tears. This is as hopeful an ending as I can imagine for these two characters. I'm very grateful that she wrote it.
