Flesh and Blood (Explicit, NC-17) by Kantayra.
Another long one, this time starring Akatsuki's odd couple.
Fandom: Naruto
Pairing: Sasori/Deidara
Genre: M/M slash, Action/Adventure, Angst.
Length: About 90,000 words.
Author on LJ:
kantayra
Warnings: Graphic depictions of violence.
Author Websites: Author on AO3.
Author's Summary Sasori had planned his death and his miraculous resurrection into a human body. What he hadn’t planned was how his brand new flesh and blood would affect him once he reunited with his old partner.
Why this must be read: Sasori and Deidara are a pair who spark off, not only each other, but virtually everyone they encounter. With little back story for either of them in canon, there's plenty of scope for fic writers to unpack their personalities and further explore their possibilities. And this is what Kantayra does in this long, action-packed story which takes two 'bad guys' and turns them into 'bad guy heroes' even if it is only of their own tales and lives. The warnings for graphic violence should be taken at face value. This story is about Sasori, the guy who makes puppets out of people and some of his work gets done while his victims are still alive. Be warned, but enjoy the story and revel in the scrapes the pair of them get into as they find their place in the world and each other.
