Author Summary: Kakashi knows damn well that it isn't a healthy coping mechanism.
Why this must be read: One of the things I enjoy in the Naruto fandom is stories that look beyond the immediate concerns of action and plot to the long term implications of a ninja's life and this certainly does that. This short fic depicts a form of therapy which, although extreme, doesn't feel beyond the bounds of possibility for the character or the 'verse. It made me wince and then think. I wonder if it'll do the same for you.
