This fic is all about Rose and Dirk being cerebral and strategic and badass together, while leaking their issues all over the place. I love fics that compare and contrast their similarities, and pT delivers. For a shorter fic, it packs quite a punch.
(And the Dave/Rose is a very, very small part of the fic, so think about giving it a try even if you usually avoid that pairing).
