Why this must be read: Gerard gets bitten by something during a late night run to a convenience store. This kicks off a series of events in Gerard's life that include Gerard testing his new 'superpowers', him learning what Mikeyway and Bob have been up to, and trying to understand why Ray smells so good all of the sudden.
I really enjoyed how the author sets up the werewolf angle as a sensory experience. There's a lot about the way someone smells, of course, but Gerard's new wolfiness enhances some aspects of his personality in interesting ways. It's something of a struggle for him, of course, as far as learning which parts of his behaviour are from own personality and which ones are the wolf's.
The writting is very snappy and the plot develops at a smooth pace. Totally worthy of reading if you're in the mood for a great werewolf fic. :D!
