Why this must be read: Because it's just a wonderful little story about a boy and his dog--in this case, Clark and Krypto. It will tug at your heart strings in a really good way, and make you smile, and and is just everything a story like this should be.
He remembered this! The joy of something being thrown and he chasing it, then bringing it back to his boy for it to be thrown again. His boy laughed and Krypto wagged his tail hard, tongue hanging out.
“You remember this, huh boy?” His boy said, threw the stick again. Krypto bounded after it, barking.
“You would’ve loved the farm, Krypto,” his boy said quietly, and Krypto faltered. His boy was sad. He carefully picked up the stick, then brought it back to his boy, placed it at his feet, whining softly.
“Good boy, Krypto.” His boy’s voice was still quiet. He did not throw the stick again. Krypto stopped wagging his tail, leaped so he was hovering, nosed at his boy, whining gently.
“Sorry, boy. I just... I just miss them.”
