Folie a Deux by Sihaya Black(explicit)

Hi, I'm kernel and I'm at the wheel this month. I am pleased to be reccing for March as it's exactly a year since I stumbled across The Sentinel and discovered the treasure trove that is Sentinel fanfic.

Fandom:THE SENTINEL
Pairing:Jim/Blair
Length:11,102
Author on LJ:[livejournal.com profile] beledibabe
Author Website:Stories on AO3
Why this must be read: This story is set post TS by BS . At the beginning it is clear that Blair has won compensation from the publishing house over the release of his dissertation and is contemplating going to the Police Academy. With the realisation of their feelings for each other the situation gets more complicated.

I like the way the author resolves the cop or not cop, partners or "partners" issues. Along the way we also have a camping trip,a first kiss and a funny coming out to the team scene: lots of elements I enjoy, and together they make for a satisfying and sweet story.

Yippee, your first rec! I know you probably had some butterflies, but I bet you feel better now! I've always liked Sihaya's work. Good choice.

A Very good first rec and I look forward to what you have to offer us this month. And Please don't stress too much about the html,,, magician worked Magic with my dinosaur abilities with computers. I learned more in one month than in the three months of college a few years back. Don't stress to ask questions of her, she's great! And so was your first rec!

Yay Kernel! I think this is a new story to me, too -- how exciting! I remember when I drove the Van a few years ago; I was really nervous too. I did a lot of copying and pasting, and Magician helped enormously. I ended up really pleased with the experience. Life has gotten so much busier even since then, and I haven't done a repeat.

You've only been reading Sentinel fic for a year?? Congratulations and wow, there's still so much fun ahead of you. It's been just about ten years for me now... and I'm not kidding when I say it has been a life-changing experience.

Talk to you soon, hon!
