Jeff and Maya Bohnhoff are parodists, filkers, writers and who knows what all else, but in this rec, their musical talents are in the forefront. Wow. When Queen meets Star Wars, watch out. A masterful blend of guitar slides and someone who sure sounds like Freddie Mercury wailing the lyrics and you are swept away into the GFFA easier than any other way I can think of. How it was done, I do not know, but as a fan, I appreciate it.

Great - they are a force to be reckoned with *snerk*. I'm guessing they lifted the vocals, left the instrumentals, and replaced the vocals with their own, but I really don't know.

The singer is Maya. And yes, the two of them are geniuses, and they are enabled by various friends and their kids, who are pretty good musicians in their own right.
