Why this must be read:
One of those who first recommended this piece to me,yasminm, used the term
"the aesthetics of Oriya." I think that's the perfect phrase to describe the make-up of
this particular character, who has spent very little screen-time in either the manga or
the anime, yet seems to have a fair-sized following, of which I am a part.
Oriya is Muraki's dearest friend, and this piece explores their relationship through
Oriya's eyes, with a precision and elegance that perfectly evokes the character for me.
