Why this must be read: I was so happy when I saw that xparrot was writing PoI, as I have been a fan of her work in other fandoms for several years.
I don't read Carters POV's very often but xparrot is an author I totally trust to deliver a good piece of writing. This story goes from 0 to 60kmh so fast, much like the show and Carters reactions ring true, you do get a sense of who she is, mother, cop, friend, skeptic, negotiator and cat wrangler, throughout the telling.
