Why this must be read:
Because despite the camaradie, possibly forged mainly of disbelief and exasperation at Walter, that Astrid and Peter seemed to share in S1 particularly there weren't many moments given to them (or to Astrid herself) in subsequent seasons. Friendship fic for these two isn't that common overall and this was simply a nice piece that allows acknowledgment of their relationship, showing Astrid as not oblivious to the plotty goings on and gives an opportunity for Peter's reflections too.
