Looking back on my crossover rec last month I've come to a startling conclusion about myself. I have a serious kink for stories wherein characters from two different programs meet briefly, give each other what they need in the form of emotional comfort and mind altering sex, and then part forever - a very angsty yet fulfilling "ship passing in the night" scenario. Along those lines, "Arms of Love' answers the ever present "How did Krycek get out of the silo?" question. Duncan saves Alex from the oil, Alex saves Duncan from himself. By providing a very nice parallel ethical case to Methos' relationship with moralistic highlander, Alex proves once again why he is the little black dress of fic crossovers - that boy goes with everything.
