Revelations (G) and Purchase (G) by Kass
I’m so excited to be once again driving the Van. Before I start I have a PSA. As you may have heard, our beloved slash archive, 852 Prospect , has moved to Archive of Our Own . It is being maintained as an intact collection and will continue to be open to any authors who want to add to its slashy goodness.
As a result of the move, I’ve been reading in the archive more than usual, so I plan to highlight some of the stories found there.
Fandom: THE SENTINEL
Pairing: Jim/Blair
Length: 2200 and 500 words
Author on LJ:
kassrachel
Author Website: Fanworks by Kass and at AO3
Why this must be read: In canon, there are references to Blair’s Jewish roots, although he’s not observant. In my head canon, Blair has not forgotten his upbringing and, when he slows down enough, feels the tug of those roots. In Kass’ story, he decides to observe Shavuot (which coincidentally happened just a few weeks ago), and we feel his passion right along with him.
“Revelations” was posted at the 852 Prospect archive almost a decade ago. As a bonus, I’m also including Kass’ newest work in TS; a short but lovely Chanukah story written last year. It’s delightful to know that our boys still reach out to inspire an author, no matter how long she’s been writing. Enjoy.
Revelations and Purchase
--magician’s mantra: make an author’s day. Send feedback if you liked their story! AO3 makes it easy.

I'm still punching the air over 852 being kept safely and all in one place *g*
And thank you for the rec - I'll bookmark for later because they don't ring a bell with me at all.

Kass was one of the first authors I found at TS. I really like her stories; I hope you enjoy them as well.

Both these stories are beautifully written. There is a sort of heavy contentment about them. Delightful.
Great recs, thank you!
