Why this must be read: Because Arrow writes Jim and Blair who are so recognizable. In canon, Jim often pokes fun at Blair. It’s usually gently done, but sometimes, especially when it’s directed at Blair’s sex life, it’s as sharp as a pointy stick.

Jim comes home and soon realizes that Blair is whacking off. There’s no real way to hide that Jim has overheard, so Jim chooses to make an off-hand remark that he thinks is funny. It’s anything but, and leads to a long and winding road of awkwardness, angst and self-discovery. Enjoy.
