Why this must be read: It’s “Attraction” shown through Blair’s eyes.
In the episode “Attraction”, Jim is unaccountably mesmerized by Babe of the Week Laura to the point where everything else takes a back seat when she’s around, including investigating his current case. Eventually, Blair is able to show that her pheromones, and Jim’s enhanced reaction to them, is the reason. But how did Blair figure that out? And why was he so eager to put the kibosh on their relationship?
This story borrows scenes and dialogue from the episode, primarily the scenes where Laura is involved. But it also has missing scenes, like how Blair researched the pheromone connection, which leads Blair to some eye-opening self-reflection.
