Why this vid kicks ass: Because it gives us a view of what Blair experienced during the time he was dead in Sen Too.
In canon, the focus is primarily on Jim’s ability to access the spiritual plane and bring Blair back from the dead, including the memorable merging of their spirit animals. But what happened before that? Helvetica uses what people have reported about their near death experiences to answer that question. The coloring, the overlays, the cuts and the music all work together to provide a moody and moving piece.
Helvetica’s vids are as ethereally beautiful and evocative as her drawings of Blair and Jim are. She has illustrated TS stories, as well as inspired authors to write TS stories after viewing her art. If you’re unfamiliar with her work, you are in for a real treat. Enjoy.
