Why this must be read:

As in in the original Marvel Universe, Ultimate Magneto's children were once part of the Brotherhood before they joined the Avengers. (Or, as they're known in this version, the Ultimates.) However, this time their family relationship was known and acknowledged from the beginning - Magneto raised the twins to follow in his footsteps. Whether they wanted to or not.

Set during the brief interval where Cyclops had abandoned the X-men to follow Magneto, this is a disturbing (note pairing) look at Wanda's family life. She's a young woman trying to negogtiate her identity within the bonds her father and brother have entangled her in. This is one of the few fanfics about incest I've found convincing and plausible. It's is a story about transgressions of more than one kind, and about Wanda finding her own kind of freedom.
