Hi, I'll be reccing for the Hannibal tv series this month. There's already quite a bit of fic written for the series (over 1500 on AO3, and it only debuted 3 months ago). I plan to rec a decent variety of things, so hopefully there will be something for everyone.

Why this must be read:

Will's empathovision is a defining feature of the show, but only seems to come up when catching killers - and always from the killer's point of view. This fic shows what it might be like in more everyday situations, like buying dog food. There's also some nice reflection on Will's relationship with dogs.

I feel incredibly uneasy about reading fanfic for Hannibal, it's such an intense and unusual show.

But I really enjoyed this story. It's a great start, and makes me feel a bit less apprehensive about checking out the fanfic.
