Why this must be read: A fair question in a sport like tennis is “what would happen if the tabloids found out?” In this fic, it’s about the fallout from Rafa and Novak being caught in a compromising position in the summer of 2009. Novak has reason to worry, as he has his parents having issue, his younger brothers pulled into the spotlight and he doesn’t really know where he and Rafa stand. There are little moments that are golden – I can imagine Martina Navratilova reacting this way to homophobic nonsense as well as David Ferrer’s silent version of solidarity.
