Betty Ross hasn't seen Bruce Banner in more than a year. Jane Foster saw Bruce three days ago. They're both attending the "21st Annual Women in Science and Technology Conference." Bruce, obviously, is not. He's going to regret that, soon enough.

Post-Avengers movie, a story where Betty Ross isn’t forgotten, especially considering Bruce Banner has developed some level of control. Jane Foster seeks Betty out at a science conference to talk science and chat about how Bruce is doing (at her own volition) and it helps settle a loose character thread. It’s interesting that it’s Jane who does this considering the female genius scientists have a lot of common ground to connect over.
