Why this must be read: A mundane office AU involving all sorts of Armada entanglements would be Total Win to begin with.  Even though I recced this author for something else earlier this month, she is one of the go-to authors when it comes to Armada fic - it was just a question of which fic to pick.  In the fic, Nico is an observer in the world, whether it's creating stories about other people on the Metro or doing the accounting work of people having more exciting personal lives.  So while Feliciano Lopez gets Nico to the point of being overworked and burnt out, Nico romanticizes about a particular artist on the Metro who seems to leave little pieces of his life behind.  Nico works so well in the lead role as he's usually the outsider when it comes to Armada hijinks anyway.
