Why this must be read: If you are one of the people who thinks Ray/Ray fic often falls down on its characterisation of one or both of the Rays, don't worry, I was once right there with you. This fic is the fic that made me realise just how wonderful V/K can be, when done right: both Rays are following their own believable arcs, as gloriously in-character as they are in love. Adorable curtain/kid fic with a well-thought-out back story and interesting interplay between the past and the present, I couldn't recommend this highly enough.
