Why this must be read: Many of Arianna's wonderful stories have been recced on here before but I was pleased to find this one hadn't as it is one of my favourites.
Set post TSbyBS and told from Jim's pov the story has a strong, resourceful Blair picking up the pieces after the diss disaster. We see that Jim's perceptions of Blair are perhaps not the whole reality. The story has angst, romance, a case fic and my favourite 'who's Blair's father?' backstory. I also love the hint at the end of how things might develop in Cascade with the sentinel/guide business.
The story was written for Moonridge and The Sentinel Big Bang 2010 so there is some lovely art to enjoy with it as well.
