Why this must be read:
Strong friendships are the core of the SG-1 team. Jack and Daniel's relationship tends to get the most attention in fandom, so it's always great to find a story that does look at the other intra-team relationships. This story is a nice look at Sam and Daniel, both awake off-world in the wee small hours. Talk of nightmares, coffee, Jack's mother-hen tendencies, and unexpected life changes ensue. It's a simple story, but the dialogue is excellent, and it addresses a couple major character evolution points. It's also just very endearing.
