xf_book_club, and ran it with my help for several years. Since it was gen fic, it didn't get the attention from the fandom it deserved, though a wonderful artist, Skuuri, created this illustration for it: One is Silver. Briefly, it's New Year's Eve, they're on duty, patrolling the festivities trying to look like ordinary folk out for a good time. Naraht's writing is always subtle and nuanced, and she stays close to canon for characterization and plot. This is a small gem of holiday fanfic.
