Why this must be read:
The theme of the night is apparently sad endings and sequels that I prefer not to read. As in my last rec, I much prefer this story as a stand alone. Don't let the het and the OFC scare you away. Rereading this one feels like sliding into a warm bath. It was one of the first really well written fan fics I read. It might be a Mary Sue, but I like it anyway. Duncan and an old friend of Tessa's dance through each other's lives briefly.
