Why this must be read: One of the highlights of the Fellowship extended edition extras was hearing stories about the scale doubles like Kiran (Frodo) and BK (Sam). BK in particular left a very strong impression as a bossy and almost motherly figure who could kick Sean's ass at chess and whip Viggo round the kitchen ("Open oven and cook rice and get colander and bring me knife and bring me fork!") This funny, thoughtful little fic is very much in keeping with those stories: BK (and the rest of the cast) as seen through a weary Viggo's fond, intrigued eyes.
Days on set are starting to get to you. You're starting to crumble under the weight of dirt and swords and elves and rings.
Which is why it shouldn't surprise you when your personal favorite scale double suddenly materializes at your side. "I am being very worried about you, Viggo-saab." BK shakes his finger at you, trilling his r's and turning his v's into b's as you watch Pete line up the next shot.
He told you, once, that "Bhiggi" means "wet" in Hindi and it seems to be fitting since you spend so much of your time damp and cold with your toes squishing against the inside of Aragorn's boots.
