Why this must be read:
There aren't a whole lot of Firefly crossover stories out there, but I found a few, and this was the one that made me squee, mainly because of the integration of the two fandoms. I won't spoil it here because of the author's note. But the other fandom only comes into play in the epilogue, so do give this story a try.
