Why this must be read: Originally published in the zine Tongue In Cheek, it's set post-Sweet Revenge. This is a look at the only family they really need, each other. Starsky is living in Washington State, in the winter, on an apple farm. Why? Because where Hutch goes, he goes. And they realized a whole lot on that farm other than how to pick apples. Where one goes, the other follows. Such is life, such is love.

"You've never wanted it before," Hutch reminded, his eyes fixed on the mug in his hands.

"So? I never wanted to live on a farm either, but I'm here with you."

As Ro sums up, 'Things do not change. We change.' And sometimes those changes can only lead to better things.

I absolutely love this story. "Whither thou goest" to the fullest. I loved Starsky's "Could I come?"

Love can do wonderous things. It can even bring Starsky to the middle of nowhere, growing apples and repairing a house and making it work because Hutch wants it. Home is where his partner is, whether that be the city, the country, or the North Pole.
