Why this must be read:
I love futurefics with Reporter!Clark and Best Friend/Roomate!Lex and a nonbitchy Lois who plays a big part in the story. This story also features Jealous!Clark and lovely Clark/Lex and Clark/Lois friendships. I liked the humor threading the angst, and Lex and Lois playing jokes on Clark. This Clark is still trying to get a handle on his dual identity, and things do seem simpler for Superman. Also, the story has cross-dressing Clark in one scene, and drunken sex, and a very Alien!Clark. It felt right to rec a story that included many of the classic SV fanfic cliches in a story that still was fresh and amusing. (I liked the Alien!Clark aspect least, but what's a month of SV recs without one story about just how weird a alien could be?)
