Why this must be read:
I tend not to read many stories from River's point-of-view, but this story manages to combine the fragmentation of reality, the gorgeous imagery, the emotional drive, and the underlying brilliance that are the reasons why I love and am so intrigued by the character of River. It's a short, beautifully written piece that leaves me with a tiny heartache for both River and Simon.
