::clears throat:: Um, do you get the feeling that fanfic occasionally drives me insane? Right.
Anyway, this is a great story about medicine and prejudice and strange new worlds. If you're a scientist, be prepared for a few procedural mistakes, but overall, I enjoyed watching the characters solve the puzzle and try not to strangle each other. She does a very nice job of balancing tone, also, with some hilariously funny moments combined with sadness and anger.
