Why this must be read:

Philomel wrote a couple Wash/Zoe classics, and I wanted to rec "Pieces" as my favorite. It's a comfort read, the kind of story that leaves me feeling that maybe, just maybe, things will turn out all right for this crazy crew, no matter what Joss the 'verse throws at them. Set right after "War Stories," it's about Wash thinking through his relationship with Zoe, and it's sweet and charming with some nice character insights and interactions.
