Djibouti, by Caroline and Fox (R)
Fandom: SPORTS NIGHT
Pairing: Dan/Casey
Author on LJ:
linabean and
darthfox
Author Website: http://linabean4.tripod.com/ is caroline and fox can be found at http://www.squidge.org/~foxsden/
Why this must be read:
Because it's a cheery, smutty story in which Danny turns 30. It's just unadulterated fun - I'd like rather more plot, frankly, but for times when you'd like a bit of happy smut to brighten your day, this is right up there. Good smut is a rarity; this even does the characters the courtesy of admitting that they're still themselves while they're having said smut, too, which is rarer. And if you don't like smut, read it for the dialogue. Pretty dialogue makes me happy. :)
(Though, uh, I should add that the only people who absolutely should not read this story are those who don't want to know what precocious twelve years olds get up to at summer camp. Heh.)

Also, aw, it's cool you like the story. I like this one because I feel like, working with Fox on it, the dialogue came out a lot more Sports-Night-y than anything I'd managed on my own.
Anddd...now back to my history paper. Catch you later :)

And, no problem - twas a pleasure to rec. (Re-reading in order to make the rec was such a chore. Heh.) Good luck with the paper.
