Because it’s a sweet, hurty little fic. The end of seventh year, and the beginning of the war with Voldemort approaches, and Harry can’t sleep. He spends his predawn hours by the lake, and is joined there one morning by his enemy, who can’t sleep for his own reasons.

This is the stand-alone prequel to a very popular WiP, Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow, which I couldn’t rec this month per comm guidelines, but if you’re interested it’s also located on Skyehawke.
