Hello, hello! I'm dragonsinger, and I'll be your Sentinel reccer for this month. My mission for this month is to rec those little known, but very good gems often overlooked in the fandom. Why this must be read:

In this one short story, Azar creates a very real and intriguing character. The story is told from Jim's point of view and how he learns to deal with this new person. Ariel never once tries to come between Blair and Jim, and she seems to understand their friendship.

This story is the first in an excellent series. It's definitely a must-read.

Oh, okay, thank you. I couldn't find the standard form, but I certainly will add that.

And, yes, het. I really don't much like slash so my recs will be of the gen and het variety.
